Comfortable, unpretentious, cosy wood-panelled bar with numerous pictures decorating the walls. The front area looks on to Leith Walk, the rear is divided into several smaller seating areas.

Pizzas from Origano can be ordered from 5pm to 10pm and are brought to the pub.

A quiz is held on Wednesday evenings, chess and dominoes are available at other times.

Children are not admitted.

NOTE: This pub often serves a Pilot beer labelled “Pours like cask, fresh from the keg” by handpump. CAMRA classifies this as Real Ale IN THIS PUB as the beer is Live and a cask breather/aspirator used to maintain the protective gas blanket at atmospheric pressure.
