Originally the Railway Inn, then the Clifton Arms Inn (1890s), back to the Railway and now the Paddock Hotel (a reference to the nearby Donington Park racing circuit). It was in existence in 1874 when sold as the Railway and so was probably built soon after the opening of the railway station in 1868. It is situated on the Donington side of Melbourne, part of Railway Terrace, and is handily placed for walkers and cyclists using the nearby Sustrans track and rural footpaths. A small hotel with a restaurant, drinkers welcome in the front bar area.
