This Pub is Permanently Closed
The Anglers Arms was situated on Nottingham Road, Spondon as you leave the village for Borrowash. The pub was built in 1938 by Hardy Hanson's.
There was an original Inn on this site bought in around 1916 and used as horse changing station for coaches on the Nottingham turnpike. It was demolished shortly after its closure to make way for an old peoples home.
