Originally an outbuilding to the Abbey but converted to pub usage in 1979, it positively oozes character in its two contrasting rooms on two levels. The Undercroft Bar has an uneven, tiled floor with a magnificent open fire, though the bar is currently not open. Upstairs the bar features a vaulted ceiling with fine, exposed roof timbers. Not to be missed if you are in this attractive, conservation area.

House rules preclude the use of electronic devices and no swearing.

It is a scheduled monument and not to be missed in this attractive conservation area. Real ale and pub food (except Mondays).
