This Pub is Permanently Closed

Former Youngs pub closed in December 2001 and reopened as a Free House in need of refurbishment but soon demolished for a Tesco, Was a large 1950's house at a busy crossroads. Rambling saloon bar with interesting decor and basic public bar which is crowded and noisy at most times.

Planning application 02/01786/P requesting demolition for retail purposes was granted on 22 October 2002.
