Reopened in July 2025 as an independent family pub, the Dark Horse serves one regular cask ales and up to three changing guest ales. The interior is comfortably furnished, with no TVs. There is a pool table and a small selection of board games. Children are welcome until 9pm each day. There is a quiz each Thursday and monthly live music event is planned.

Historic Interest

For many years a Shepherd Neame pub called the Two Brewers, it closed in January 2025 and was sold.
