This Pub is Closed Long Term

This old country pub and former courthouse from the 1840s was converted from three cottages which were formerly part of the Edgcumbe estate, and near Cotehele House. Beamed and carpeted throughout, the bar is furnished with old furniture and antiques, and offers a wide choice of classic pub food using local produce. There is also a children's menu, and the pub offers baby-changing facilities. Well-behaved dogs welcome in the bars. A large conservatory offers impressive views down to the River Tamar. A separate sports bar houses a projector that shows major sports games. A seasonal beer from the St Austell Brewery portfolio may appear at times. Once the Butcher's Arms, the story of the pub's current name concerns a delivery man who brought a load meant for its namesake in St Ive, and when told remarked, 'Who's have thought it?'. Which was adopted as the name to prevent more wrong deliveries.
