This is a thriving pub in the heart of St Day. There are two regular real ales, Sea Fury and Proper Job, with a rotating guest from the Punch range. Pictures of St Day in years gone by, can be seen as you move around the building. The pub has two bar areas, the main one featuring seating and a large stove, and also three TV screens. The smaller has seating, a pool table and darts board - the pub supports pool, darts and euchre teams. There is also a garden at the rear of the premises. Look at the A-boards outside at the front of the pub, to see what events are coming up. Food is advertised inside. You can pre-order sausage rolls and pasties from Ethringtons Wed-Sat and these are served from the pie warmer at the bar. The number 40 bus stop is right outside the pub, if you are travelling from Truro, but 200m down the road at the Market Square if you are heading towards Truro.
