Curently offering no real ale at all, this single-roomed pub, thoroughly refurbished during 2015, offers fine views over Falmouth harbour and the Penryn River to Flushing. A small bar immediately on the left of the entrance leads into a spacious single room with bare floorboards, plenty of seating, and simply decorated with a varied collection of paintings. Food is a major part of the operation here, but the owners regard it as basically a pub with food, and you are welcome just to go in and drink. The pub closes Tuesdays and Wednesdays in January and February, except at half-term.
