Originally built as a small hotel close to what, in the 19th Century was a significant, and still is a busy, railway station in a semi-rural area, the Hooton Hotel is now a family-friendly pub-restaurant. The bar is in three distinct sections, one given over to a pool table. Three real ales are served. There is a substantial and separate restaurant area and external seating in a tidily-kept front garden.
