The first new build pub in Cambridge for around 30 years, this is Milton brewery's third pub in the city. A pub of the same name was sited to the rear of the current pub and was demolished to make way for housing. Mock Georgian design inside and out. The larger bar to the left of the entrance has large windows on two sides and a wood-burning stove. The array of clocks on the wall are set to 7 minutes past 5, the time when Boris Johnson announced that pubs would be closing for the first Covid-19 lockdown. The other bar has wooden booths down one side. Regular and changing Milton beers plus guests. Quiz on Mondays. Pizza is available Tuesday to Saturday evenings, alongside fish & chips on Fridays and roasts on Sundays.
