This Pub is Closed Long Term

WHEN VISITED IN JAN 2025, THIS PUB HAD CLOSED DOWN. ITS FUTURE IS TO BE CONFIRMED.

The pub is situated high on the hills approximately 1 mile west of Cullingworth and on the A629 Keighley to Halifax road. It has a semi-open plan layout and a rural feel befitting its location. The interior is primarily laid out for dining although drinkers are also welcome. There is a large beer garden and children's play area. Up to four real ales are available. These vary and often feature local breweries. A traditional Sunday lunch is offered. Various food and drink events are held and details can be found on the website and Facebook page. The pub can cater for functions, such as, wedding parties. The name of the area is derived from the "flay pits" that used local spring water for tanning hides. The towns of Haworth and Keighley are a relatively close by and where visitors can experience the nostalgia of the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway. Closing times may vary depending upon the demand.
