This Pub is Permanently Closed
Once a run down local a little off the beaten track, this 1930s pub was radically refurbished and revitalised in 2005 by Tynemill. The two main rooms are linked by a brick arch and have wooden floors and part wood-panelled, part tiled walls. The lounge bar is at the front and the 'music room' to the rear. The latter has small stages at both ends and hosts live music every Friday and Saturday evening, and most Sunday lunchtimes ('acoustic'). There is also a separate small pool room. Outdoor drinking (picnic tables) on patio at rear and at edge of car park. Quiz night Wednesday; karaoke Thursday.
