The latter has an unusual bar counter with mini-tiles on top and an ornate embossed front. Outdoor drinking limited to small patio on Dog Lane side, with picnic tables. Cramped car park at rear, accessed off both Main Street and Dog Lane. Open mic night first Tuesday of month. Close (200m) to village cemetery where can be found the grave of Sir Nigel Gresley, the famous steam locomotive designer and engineer.
