Imposing brick-built detached locals pub, formerly owned by Ind Coope and once a hotel. A central wood-panelled bar counter serves a basic public bar and a smart lounge; beyond the latter is a third large room with picture windows. To the rear is an enclosed garden with a patio (with picnic tables), a bowling green and a children's play area. Live music or karaoke once a month on a Saturday evening.
