This is a club, which means that the bar may be only open to members.
Non-members can be signed in.
Large, imposing red brick building overlooking a main highway through the suburb of Stapenhill on the opposite side of the River Trent from the town.
Access via steps up to the front door. If door locked (card entry system), non-members should ring the bell and will be allowed entry after being signed in by a member.
Historic Interest
The Institute was formed in 1884 using temporary premises in nearby Ferry Street, before moving to the present purpose-built building in 1888.
This Club serves 2 changing beers (Weekends only.) and 1 regular beer.
