Historic Interest

Delicensed 04/10/13 but noted as closed and boarded up May 2013, landlord was Philip Murphy and owner Trust Inns. The pub was listed in John Stotts 1977 Guide to Good Beer in Bolton as selling Tetley Bitter and Mild (E), with TV, darts and snacks. But by May 1981 it was a Tetley Keg pub. It was not listed in the 1989 Beer in Bolton. It was next visited in December 1999 and was in darkness. Three years later it was visited again and Tetley Bitter was on the bar, but later this disappeared before closure.
