A lovely old pub tucked away in the centre of town. There is a warren of rooms with a ‘snug’ at the front and off the main bar, a library with a huge collection of the owner’s books. There are up to four beers on, normally at least one from local brewer Twisted with guests from the south and west country. A couple of local traditional style ciders will normally be available also. There is often live music and sporting events on TV.
There are two rooms available to stay overnight.
