This 400-year-old Grade II Listed Farriers Arms is a community owned pub that was brought back to life by the villagers in 2009.
This beautiful village inn, complete with oak beams and open fireplaces, serves beers from the on-site brewery 5-barrel microbrewery.
The Anvil restaurant offers both classic and creative dishes prepared from local produce and specialist function evening dinners, together with a varied wine list
In late May, the pub holds an annual beer festival and many other events throughout the year including murder mysteries events.
Every third Sunday the pub hosts a classic car rally and in November a fireworks spectacular in the adjacent meadow.

Freehold Owner: Private Limited Company (1). The Farriers Arms (Kent) Ltd. Year Purchased June 2009.
After closing in December 2008, the pub was bought (in June 2009), and completely restored by 121 local village shareholders. The Farriers Arms (Kent) Ltd (a private limited company) was registered 23 April 2009. The pub reopened in November 2009.
