This Pub is Closed Long Term

The pub was converted by the army in the 1860s from two old cottages which stood alongside barracks after several licensees in the town refused to serve troublesome soldiers. Now a traditional town centre pub situated just outside the ring road opposite Lidl's with a friendly atmosphere and a loyal band of regulars.
