CAMRA returns to the BBC Good Food Show

CAMRA’s Great British Beer Experience will return to the BBC Good Food Show at Birmingham’s NEC this week (29 November – 2 December).

Celebrating the best in food and drink, the event provides the perfect opportunity to reveal the winner of CAMRA’s prestigious Champion Bottled Beer of Britain competition – the final of which will be judged and announced on the opening day of the event.

The award is presented to the best example of bottle-conditioned beer. Visitors to the BBC Good Food Show will be the first to discover and taste a selection of the finalists in a number of tutored tasting sessions, hosted by industry experts across the weekend.

Tickets are available for the exclusive sessions with leading international beer writer Roger Protz, author, journalist and beer judge Adrian Tierney-Jones and Beer Sommelier and trainer Annabel Smith, who will share some of the finest beers from the competition and show the diversity of real ale.

All attendees to the tutored tastings will receive a goodie bag from our partner, Mr Porky, who will also be giving away snack packs of their famous pork scratchings at the CAMRA stand.

CAMRA’s National Director responsible for the competition Nick Boley says: “We’re excited to be bringing the Champion Bottled Beer of Britain competition back to the BBC Good Food Show.

“We hope visitors to the show will join us in celebrating the best bottled beers in the UK and learning more about beer with our tutored tastings.”

Tickets for the BBC Good Food Show and CAMRA’s Great British Beer Experience are on sale now: https://www.bbcgoodfoodshow.com

Please note that you must have admission to the BBC Good Food Show in order to attend the Great British Beer Experience tutored tasting sessions.
