This is a club, which means that the bar may be only open to members.
Comfortably furnished private club allowing access to CAMRA members
CAMRA Regional Club of the Year in 2023, the club contains a bar area, quiet lounge and sports lounge with pool table and dart board. Snooker tables are upstairs. Five changing ales, usually including a mild and mainly sourced locally, are available. The club has its own on-site micro brewery which often brews for the club and local beer festivals.
A beer festival is held in November.
The Firs Suite, a separate function area, is available to hire for weddings, etc.
Current Good Beer Guide owners and/or CAMRA members can be signed in.
A pedestrian entrance in Wood Road is handy for the bus stop.
