Traditional wood-panelled interior split into three rooms with a rear dining/function room and a small enclosed at the back of the pub.

Good Chemistry Brewing from Bristol re-opened the pub on Thursday 14 May 2026, expect up to 2 Good Chemistry real ales. Will show sport on terrestrial tv e.g. Six Nations , happy hour for some keg beers (4 beers for £10 offer does not apply to cask beers).

Previously a tenanted Bath Ales pub but lease taken on by Abbey Ales in Spring 2024. Re-opened May 2024 after a refurbishment, another new landlord from Dec 2025. Card only.

Half a mile west of the city centre, opposite Royal Victoria Park and by the river Avon.
