Conversion of the Victorian tea rooms on York station which opened as a pub in 2011. The ornate ceiling, Art Deco stained glass windows, terrazzo floors and stained glass ceiling domes create an award-winning backdrop to the central bar with 20 handpumps. On sale are 18 cask beers plus two ciders or perries, as well as a large range of keg and bottled beer. The beers are sourced by parent company Pivovar from many of Britain’s finest breweries. All styles and strengths are represented. Pies, sausage rolls and scotch eggs are available at the bar.
