A welcoming village inn situated in the centre of Coniston attracting locals and visitors alike. In winter a cosy fire and jovial atmosphere prevail; in summer enjoy a drink on the terrace with stunning views of the Old Man of Coniston and surrounding fells and Church Beck, a babbling brook that runs through the village. Opening hours and the availability of cask ales and food are reduced in winter but details are maintained on the web site. Breakfast is available from 9:00 to 11:00.
