This Pub is Closed Long Term
Situated by the side of a hill in the wilds of Dylife the Star was one of the highest pubs in Wales. This isolated inn, which dates back to 1640, is surrounded by some of the most beautiful countryside in Britain. Scattered around are remnants of disused lead mines which was once the main industry here. For walkers the Glyndwr way is only 3/4 of a mile ahead and the Cambrian way passes the front door. The Star sadly closed as an inn in 2021 and the new owners are operating only as self catering accommodation much to the detriment of the local community who wanted their pub back.
This Pub serves 1 changing beer and 0 regular beers.
