Named after local boat builder William Wouldhave, co inventor of the self righting lifeboat, this town centre pub is part of the Wetherspoon chain, providing customers with well-priced bar meals and a selection of real ales. After a major refit in 2021 this has extended the customer area and created a new garden . 12 handpumps serve the the three regular beers and a rotation of guest ales from around the country.
