A small hotel and pub on the southern edge of Bradford. The premises has a traditional public bar with two hand-pulls dispensing real ale. The rooms have a semi-open plan layout and include leaded windows. Traditional home-cooked food is served and is competitively priced. There is a children's menu and a Saturday breakfast is available 10am to 12pm ahead of the bar opening. Various themed food nights are held including curry night (Wednesday), steak night (Thursday) and fish night (Friday). Live music takes place on Friday nights. Sunday lunch can be made available to take away. The dining room can be divided from the main bar and used for functions, seating up to forty people. One of the upstairs rooms is used by a local beauty parlour. The pub supports local businesses that manufacture hand-made cards and candles.
