This Pub is Closed Long Term

Friendly, two-roomed locals pub. Pool and darts played. Sporting trophies on display. Used to be a Greene King pub, now owned by an investment company. Woad was once grown in the area, hence the pub name. The landlady has been here since 1979, her parents ran it for 28 years before that and her grandfather for an unknown number of years before that. Closed on her retirement.
