Situated in the centre of Braunstone Park, this hotel, wedding venue and restaurant opened in October 2017. At the rear, it has a separate bar which sells a range of bottled beers, but unfortunately there is no real ale. Attractive patio and garden at the back.
Historic Interest
The former Braunstone Hall, built for the Winstanley family. A grade II listed building, described as a "small country house dated to 1776 by the architect William Oldman (later Lord Mayor of Leicester)". A previous occupier, Clement Winstanley, was the Chairman of the Leicester and Swanington Railway which opened in 1832. In 1925 while descendants of the family were still in residence, Leicester Corporation compulsorily purchased Richard Winstanley's land in Braunstone for housing development.
