This Pub is Permanently Closed

This pub was situated almost directly opposite the Brown Cow at the south end of the village. The pub closed in spring 2013 due to structural problems and was demolished during 2016.

The photo by David Dixon shows the pub in it's setting on the main street through the village.

The most recent picture by Ian Taylor shows the mural on the end wall celebrating Sir Bradley Wiggins, the local cycling hero. This end wall frequently featured new murals and various other examples can be found on the web.
