Previously named Black Bitch after a black heroic greyhound who fed her master when he was incarcerated on an island in the middle of a loch with no food and water.

Hotel incorporating two houses, the smaller one on the right is early 19th century, and the larger with attic rooms is earlier 19th century. Category C Listed as a pair given numbers 12 & 14. Historic Environment Scotland reference LB37506
