Off the beaten track in rural countryside, a traditional Suffolk free house, hard to find but well worth seeking out. A selection of cask beers from local breweries including Burnt Mill, Ampersand, Artefact, and Crouch Vale plus real ciders. Up to 16 craft beer taps including six from on site brewery Little Earth Project. Two small holiday cottages and a campsite are within the grounds. Pizzas (Thu-Sun) and bar snacks are available. Beer festivals and other events are held.

A report in the Ipswich Journal** on 14 Jul in 1849 states that : Boxford & Edwardstone : Auction of the White Horse Beer-house, a timber-built & tiled messuage, occupied by Mr William GAME. NOTE: A messuage equates to a dwelling-house & may include outbuildings, orchard, curtilage or court-yard & garden. Formerly Olivers brewery - taken over by GK 1919
