This Pub is Permanently Closed

Possibly Howden’s oldest public house with records dating from as early as 1702. Long bar with a raised area to the left of the entrance featuring a pool table. A cosy lounge enhanced by plenty of natural light adjacent to a well maintained paved garden at the rear of the pub complete the layout. Monday night is poker night (free entry) as well as providing free pool from 8-10pm. A popular free to enter quiz is run on Wednesday evenings with a free supper provided. Live music on first and last Saturdays each month.
