This Pub is Closed Long Term
Unfortunately the pub is closed more often than open. The landlady, who has a lease agreement with the owner (whose father bought the property to keep the village community alive), says she's losing too much money and that lack of local patronage is not making the pub viable. Not sure where this is heading.
Village freehouse. The split level interior includes a small raised front room with plenty of seating (albeit often pre-laid tables). The bar room has Indian stone flooring and a real fire. There is a small patio area to the front and a beer garden through the rear. Usually up to three cask ales, usually local, and one cider. B&B accommodation is available with disabled facilities.
This Pub serves 2 changing beers and 0 regular beers.
