This Pub is Permanently Closed
Formerly called the Last and dates back to the 17th century. It became the White Horse in 1823 and in recent years it had a large L shaped Bar with 2 Pool tables and TV. Small paved area with tables at rear of building. The final stage saw the pub turn more into a nightclub, but the extended closing times were problematic in the High Street and contributed to its eventual closure in autumn 2013. It was sold by Greene King and became a kitchen showroom shop.
