Update 10/08/26: the new owner has completed a renovation of the premises to repair fire damage following a fire in 2025 and the establishment reopened in early August. There is a bar with seating at the front with a short corridor leading to another bar with a restaurant area. A large garden at the rear includes an external bar.

Also listed at New Market place. A report in the Ipswich Journal on 06 July 1842 states "On 1st July, 1842, died, in her 32nd year, Harriet, wife of Mr NOBBS, of the White Horse Inn, Beccles" The original pub is thought to date from the 17th century.
