Update 02/08/26: new owners have completed a renovation of the premises to repair fire damage following a fire in 2025 with the establishment scheduled to reopen in early August. Opening hours and other details to be confirmed.

Historic Interest

Also listed at New Market place. A report in the Ipswich Journal on 06 July 1842 states "On 1st July, 1842, died, in her 32nd year, Harriet, wife of Mr NOBBS, of the White Horse Inn, Beccles" The original pub is thought to date from the 17th century.
