This is a free house in the middle of a thriving village, opposite the church. The building dates from the late 17th or early 18th century, with subsequent alterations leaving it with one large bar area with comfortable seating. There is a large open fire at one end of the room. The bar has a small library behind for those wishing to linger. There is apparently some royal connection in the past with the White Hart being seen as the symbol of Richard II
This Pub serves 1 changing beer and 2 regular beers.
