Originally built in 1787 to serve bargemen on the adjacent Wey Navigation, and rebuilt in 1861. A family friendly contemporary style single bar pub with separate a dining room. The pub usually features one house ale and two rotating guest beers. The food menu includes light bites, vegetarian and pub favourites. The award winning canalside garden is especially popular in sunny weather. The car park is managed, so there is a need to check in your registration with pub. Winner of local MP's Constituency Pub of the Year competition in December 2025.
