This Pub is Permanently Closed

This huge Friary Meux pub was a popular stopping off point for motor coaches going to and from the coast. Inside there were several rooms, and pool and darts were popular. However, being bypassed meant that the traffic using it diminished and the pub finally closed in 1991 and housing was put on the site.
