Family run village pub of exceptional quality. It is here that you can appreciate the benefits of well-managed autovac which provides fresh beer with Yorkshire liveliness. Dining to the left and traditional pub atmosphere to the right, you cannot go wrong. Three times winner of York branch pub of the season; a pub definitely worth making the effort to visit if you are not already a lucky regular. Closed Mondays and Tuesdays, opens at 4pm Wednesdays and Thursdays.
