Traditional, basic, sports-oriented, main road pub, with a numerous gaming/ fruit machine and a pool table as befitting its sports bar theming.. The pub is situated next to and near numerous Footpaths through Epping Forest used by walkers.

The pub is partially dog friendly, allowing dogs on the patio but not in the pub itself.
