Stone-built busy local community pub and a beer house since at least 1867. It is located on the A65 adjacent to Kirkstall Leisure Centre, close to Kirkstall Abbey and 0.4 mile from Headingley railway station. There is a small beer garden and smoking area outside. There is partial level access from the rear entrance. Cask ale is sometimes available.
