Demolished 1/9/2002, site is now a landscaped plot. Closed 1/2/1998. History: Former large, prominent Chesters, latterly Whitbread house. Opening Times magazine March 1998 reported closure; Opening Times magazine Sept 2002 reported demolition of long-closed pub.
