This Pub is Permanently Closed
This friendly and presentable 'local' is within easy walking distance of the A646. An old pub, with low beamed ceilings, it was once known as the Two Wells and had its own stables. lt now has two lounges side-by-side, one narrow and incorporating a large mirror, the other containing an enormous stone fireplace, mirrors and sets of attractive tables and chairs. There's also an interesting collection of plates. Both lounges have upholstered bench seating in traditional pub style. The well-used tap room has leather covered benches, along with numerous soccer and rugby pictures that reflect the interests of the 'locals'. There is a large, grassed beer garden behind the pub.
