Built in 1782, the Waggon, locally known as the Back Waggon, still retains many of the original features including mullioned windows. The building has been sympathetically refurbished but maintains a traditional ambience. An excellent food menu features daily specials, tapas and a Sunday roast. The fine dining is complemented by three beers from Marston’s, two of which change on a monthly basis. Awarded Marston’s National Pub of the Year in 2017. A warm welcome is always assured.
