This Pub is Permanently Closed

The Waggon & Horses rebuilt in the 1930s, close by Kew Bridge, and opposite the Express PH, has now been demolished. This has been on the cards for a couple of years - the redevelopment plans for the area include knocking it down and then building a new Fuller's pub on the riverbank to replace it. This new pub is to be called 'One over the Ait' and opened in 2014. A Waggon and Horses in Brentford was first recorded in 1759.
