Delicensed 16/07/13, as Green Bengal restaurant run by Ziaul Choudhury with owner Enterprise Inns. In 1982 it was a Whitbread pub selling Duttons Bitter, later it was replaced with Castle Eden Ale and Trophy Bitter (H) By 1986 Hartleys Bitter had appeared. The pub was refurbished in 1988 and by 1990 was selling Boddingtons Bitter, Trophy Bitter and Bentleys Yorkshire Bitter. The pub was visited on a pub crawl on July 22nd 1993. Hamers brewery was located behind the Pub. On 28/02/82 the Duttons Bitter was 52p, by 17/01/83 this had risen to 58p and the Castle Eden Ale was 62p
