Historic Interest

The Pub was listed in John Stotts 1977 Guide to Good Beer in Bolton as selling Greenall Bitter and Dark Mild (E), with Juke Box, darts, dominoes. However by 1982 this was a Greenall Whitley pub which had just closed, but a year earlier had been still selling the Greenall Whitley Mild and Bitter.
