Attractive stone-built pub set on a hill-top road junction. It comprises two adjoining rooms that have been opened out with a bar located between them. The opening hours may be reduced during the winter months. A games night, when pool & dominoes league matches take place, is held on Mondays. There is also a ladies pool league on Tuesdays. There is a Thursday night quiz. On Fridays, there is a DJ and karaoke night. A DJ is plays on Saturday evenings. The pub frequently supports charities with a varying principal charity each year.
